About Me
I am a Year 4 undergraduate student in the PHYS+AI program at HKUST, passionate about the intersection of physics and artificial intelligence. My academic journey combines a strong foundation in physics with growing expertise in machine learning, data analysis, and interdisciplinary AI applications.
I am skilled in Python programming, data visualization, and machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow and PyTorch, with experience in building databases, AI agents, and workflow systems for data processing and analysis. Beyond coursework, I have independently developed projects involving web scraping, network analysis, and AI-driven system design, sharpening both my technical and problem-solving abilities.
Currently, I am engaged in PHYS4291 – Unraveling Ocean Physics with AI, a research project that leverages large-scale oceanographic datasets (WOCE, ARGO) to study global ocean circulation and climate dynamics. My role focuses on applying physics-informed neural networks (PINNs) and other machine learning techniques to analyze thermocline and pycnocline behavior, forecast ocean changes, and interpret their impact on seasonal weather patterns. This project not only deepens my understanding of fluid dynamics and physical modeling, but also equips me with advanced AI skills in feature engineering, model training, and hyperparameter optimization.
Through this interdisciplinary path, I aim to bridge fundamental physics and AI innovation to tackle pressing global challenges, from climate science to complex data-driven research.

Center of Mass Educational Tech. Co. Ltd.
Internship (March 2025 - Current)
Designed and delivered an end-to-end timetable-management system that lets teachers create, update and publish individual and class schedules while automatically resolving room and time-slot conflicts.
Integrated the scheduler with the existing student-information database. Produced course materials in LaTeX and the MAMIC package for precise mathematical diagrams and notation.
Built an AI tutoring agent that answers physics questions via retrieval-augmented generation: ingested lecture notes and past exams into a vector database, chained prompts with LangChain, and returned context-aware responses to students.
Taught physics concepts and problem-solving in weekly small-group sessions.
HKUST Summer Institute 2024
Student Helper (July 2024 - August 2024)
Served as Student Helper for the Summer Institute 2024, playing a key role in managing operational activities. Led students to class and event venues, provided logistical support during the welcoming event, captured photographs of program activities, and assisted with various ad hoc duties to ensure the smooth running of the program.
Achievers' Ladder
Part-time Tutor (September 2022 - March 2024)
Tutored students ranging from Primary 1 to Form 6 at a tutorial centre. Assisted lower-grade students with homework completion and understanding of fundamental concepts. Provided academic support to higher-grade students in subjects including Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. Supported the centre's operations by aiding the boss with various administrative tasks.
